A Catalyst to Change Human Life
SOHAY has grown from strength-to-strength in the last few years. It now employs 27 staff members, works in 15 centres and hopes to admit over 800 children to Government Primary School this September. As well as focusing on education, it raises awareness about important issues such as human rights and health and also runs skill development programmes for underprivileged women and youths in the area.
SOHAY is a not for profit, non-government organization that was established in 2002, it was registered under joint stock company and firms in 2004 and received NGO Affairs Bureau registration in 2007.
SOHAY would like its unique strategy for admitting children to Government Primary School to become a pioneering model for education in rural and urban Bangladesh.
